We are two gals from Mexico who are
very passionate about food & design.
Vero grew up in Sonora, Mexico and is co- founder of Cilantro Kitchen. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Arizona and received her culinary training at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School.
Prior to founding Cilantro, Vero worked as a Chef at the award winning resort Canyon Ranch in Tucson, AZ where she focused on healthy gourmet cuisine under the supervision of renowned chef Scott Uehlein.
Throughout her life she has worked at several Mexican gourmet restaurants, and has taught cooking classes in both the U.S. and Mexico that focus on healthy and Mexican gourmet cuisines.
Through her work and services at
Cilantro Kitchen, she shares her passion for Mexican gourmet cuisine and
introduces her clients to the wonders of Mexican delicacies. Vero’s passion for
food comes from her grandmother who used to cook amazing Mexican dishes such as
mole poblano, pescado a la veracruzana and her famous Mexican caramelos.
Ines is a graphic designer and food passionate from Queretaro, a colonial town in the center of Mexico. Growing up away from the big cities in a traditional Mexican hacienda, she started experimenting in the kitchen and diving into the culinary world of the locals to understand how to prepare real, authentic dishes.
Her love for cooking, Mexican gastronomy and traditions, combined with the need for options in Austin to enjoy a modern, non tex-mex meal inspired her to become a co-founder of Cilantro Kitchen where she shares her recipes and takes the dishes presentation to another level with her own unique designs.
